All month long Bo Bunny has been spot lighting their design team members. As part of the introductions Bo Bunny was also going to give away prizes to a random person that left a comment on each members introduction. So I checked the blog today and OMG.....I won! So right away I sent them my name and address and now I can't wait to see what my prize is. I will be sure to share pictures when it comes!

Wow, I can't believe a week has gone by already since my last post. But I have been working hard on some DT layouts, Kit Club & Guest Designer applications. So rest assured I will have lots of new projects to begin posting next week. But for now I will leave you with a peak at one of my DT application layouts . . . .
Stay tuned for more sneaks this week as I work like crazy to get everything done!

You Hold The Key To My Heart
So here is the layout I created on Sunday using the Timepiece Collection by Bo Bunny.
I decided I wanted to do a layout of just my DH and I and I love this collection by Bo Bunny. I am totally thrilled with how it came out. These are probably three of my most favorite pictures of us together. #1 was at a Chicago Bears football game in Chicago. #2 was a random shot of us taken by a friend while over visiting them. #3 was taken in Aruba on a family vacation.
On this layout I did a lot of layering, distressing, and inked the edges on like everything! I also cut out some shapes from the paper and used them as embellishments. I also got a little bling happy cause this is the most bling I have ever used on a layout before!
I now want to tell you about the flowers.
The flowers are actually homemade out of dryer sheets (yes, the ones you throw in your dryer with your clothes!) I got the idea from a very talented lady named Gabrielle Pollacco. She has a tutorial on her blog on how to do this (http://gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/2011/03/recycled-dryer-sheet-blooms-tutorial.html).
*Note - I did a slight variation from her tutorial though, instead of using alcohol ink in water I used Tim Holtz Adirondack Color Wash and just sprayed the dryer sheets. Just make sure you do this with paper towels or something behind the sheets because the spray will go through. I used Bounce sheets that were unscented and had no coloring.
Thanks for looking,
Sherrie

My Weekend
Wow.....what a weekend! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and group of friends. On Saturday I celebrated another birthday, but it really started on Thursday evening. Thursday we went out to eat with our nephew Seth and our daughter Kaitlynn. After dinner we stopped by my father-in-laws and he gave me a gift card to Kohls (YEAH!) Then Friday evening my husband took me out for dinner, just the two of us, to our favorite Sushi resturant in Springfield. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sushi! Saturday morning, yes on my actual birthday, I got up and ran 17 miles. My birthday present to myself! For those that don't know why I did this, it is because I am actually training to run the Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon on October 16th! Then we got ready and went over to my mother and stepfather-in-laws house for a birthday dinner from them. She made the most awesome porkchops and my favorite veggie, green beans! Then Sunday I spent most of the day scrapbooking and then helped my husband out in the woods putting up a new treestand and clearing a out brush and setting up trail cameras. I can't wait to go shopping and use my giftcard. I also received a new cricut cartridge from my other in-laws!! So now you now why I have been missing for the past few days. But I promise to be back tomorrow with pictures of the layout I created on Sunday!
Sherrie.
