JK-5K

Today I am going to share with you a layout I made using two of my favorite WOW! Glitter Embossing Powders....Suzy West Sierra Sunrise and Black Glint (my other favorite is the Neutral Ultra Shimmer!)

Ever since I can remember I have loved to run. Even now that I am older I still love to run 5K races regularly throughout the summer. I do it because I love it and not for the time. So when I found out I had actually placed at this race I was thrilled. So to highlight this achievement I made this layout.

Since yellow is my favorite color I took yellow cardstock and cut out the JK 5K and then embossed them with the Suzy West Sierra Sunrise Embossing Powder.

Then on my chipboard numbers and letters I double embossed them by first embossing them with Ebony and then with Black Glint. I wanted to make sure they had a really good black base. I just love how the glitter embossing powder just gives your project a little extra sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back tomorrow and see a group post by one of our amazing teams!!
Warmly,
Sherrie!!

MIA!!

My-Oh-My has my life been just super crazy busy the last few months!! I can't believe that it has been soooooooo long since my last post here. But between family, work, house, DT work for both The Scrapbook Outlet and WOW!, and buying For The Luv of Art things have been busy for me. I feel bad that I have neglected my blog and am going to do my best to do much better about posting on here.

And to get started I am going to share some tags I created using the amazing WOW! Embossing Powders and WOW! Stamps.

The WOW! Stamps are photopolymer which means they are higher quality stamps and make amazing images. They will also never turn yellowish with age.

For this first tag (above) I used the heart boarder from the Gratitude set and Whirly Pop and Gold Rich Regular embossing powders.

For the second tag I used the Brocade Background stamp on both the tag and heart. I used Earthtone Pepper embossing powder on the tag and Gold Rich Regular on the heart.

And for the last tag I again used the Brocade Background stamp but used Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder this time. On the heart I used Whirly Pop and on the Crown I used Gold Rich Regular.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the tags.

Warmly,
Sherrie!!

Fabric & Flowers for May

This month for our group post we were tasked to be inspired by Fabric and Flowers for our team post (WOW! Embossing Powder...6 Girls & a Smoking Gun).

And here is my project....

I decided I wanted to make a mini-album for my niece, Aly, of her first year of track. Instead of using "Track" themed paper I decided to go with something a little more Aly's style...pink & purple!!

I still have some journaling to do and a few more pages to complete, but it is well on its way to being complete!

  • WOW EMBOSSING POWDERS: Black Glint Powder, Clear Gloss Regular, Sierra Sunrise
  • STAMPS: Wow! “Brocade”
