New crafting toys

After over a month of waiting, my Sizzix Big Shot has arrived! For probably a year now I have been going back and forth between a Cuttlebug, Sizzix Texture, or Sizzix Big Shot. I actually bought a Sizzix Texture because I figured I already have a Circut so all I really needed was something to emboss with. But after talking with some friends at my LSS, I took the Sizzix Texture back (without having even gotten it out of the box). I then proceeded to order me a Big Shot. I just love some of the dies that Sizzix/Tim Holtz has and wanted to be able to use them. Now to start collecting dies and embossing folders, which will have to be done slowly!

 On the same day that my Big Shot arrived I also got my Clip It Up Ribbon Organizer (the 36" model). I ordered this on Black Friday from The Scrapbook Warehouse because they had shipping for $4.95 for everything! Plus they had these on sale for $17.99, which was crazy. Before all my ribbon was crammed into this little box and I had a hard time finding anything. Besides the fact that all my ribbon was getting messed up being crammed into the same little box.

So on Sunday my DH and I got it hung-up and I got all my ribbon organized. I totally LOVE IT! Slowly but surely getting my scrap area better organized. Which is going to be very helpful now since I am going to be spending even more time there with my new DT responsibilities.
