"Loving Every Minute of It"

Doesn’t this quote from Judy Garland just make you sigh? *sigh*

I hope you all had a terrific week. I’m not even sure if Valentine’s Day is completely global, but what a fantastic excuse to wear red, steal a kiss, indulge in champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, stop and smell the overly priced roses, and remember the moment (or moments) you fell in love.

The 7 Girls and a Smoking Gun design team at WOW! Embossing Powders shared so much passion this week in their love of crafting, that we were bursting with projects! Playing with Embossing Powders, Pretty Papers, Our handy-dandy heat guns, Stamps...We were loving every minute of it!

Each lovely lady posted a sneak peek of a sweet little project created with V-Day in mind and if you followed the links to their blogs you found tutorials, inspirations and smiles. (I have the blogs posted again at the end.)

Here is a sneak peak at my project…the most elegant Gift Tags a Lady can Love to Look At!

I Do. . .

For those of you coming from the WOW! Blog so glad you came to see more of the album.  For those of you that haven't been to the WOW! Blog this week you really should check it out and participate in our very first blog hop!

Now to share some more of the mini album that I created for today's post.

Now here are some close ups:
For the I Do I cut them out of grunge paper on my Cricut and then embossed them with Whirly Pop. I then applied a thin layer of glitter glue over to give it some sparkle.

On the acrylic pages I actually adhered a sheet of patterned paper to the back side. On the front side I sprayed with different colors of Perfect Pearls Mists that matched the cardstock. Then along the edge I used Bright White embossing powder.

For the large heart I embossed it with Gold Rich Metallic High, twice to make it thicker. While it was still hot I pressed the Brocade Background stamp onto it to make the design. I just love this technique! The smaller heart was embossed with Bubble Gum powder.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to visit the WOW! Blog tomorrow for our final day of the hop. While there don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a pretty awesome prize!  Be sure to come back to see the rest of the album real soon.
